Glad there are still young men who want to learn such things. So many are out of touch.

Good deal. Not many are willing to put in the work. Great of you to take the time to educate him. You, Doyle, Ronnie, Sawmiller etc are a rare breed. Most guys are lookin for the quick buck and not long term. Makes me think of Doyle, thousands of hours invested in his farm I would bet. Sad he didn't get to enjoy in his retirement years.

dave, all smell good. maybe not to humans. I`ve told yuite a few if I tip you all beat it up here fast and get those buckets. some of that stuff can never be duplicated or replaced. some been brewing for over 55 years now. I`m waiting till I get old to use it. when I get to where I can`t walk and I need the animals to come to me. you know the kind, on the boards the coyotes nose stick out 2 feet like an ant eater nose. it`s because they run so fast to get to that smell that their noses get there 2 feet before the rest of their body. now that is how you can tell a good lure.

Kinda like finding the pots of gold at the end of the rainbow Bob's fur shed has all kinds of surprises in it. Smells only a trapper can appreciate.

I always get a kick out of those guys over at the Lair dogging Bob and Robert W. I learned a ton just by reading between the lines of their posts. Heck I be thrilled to just to learn half of what Kathy knows before I kick over. Never stop learning.
