has any body got any tips on replaceing them? i clean all surfaces on jaws and cover, for a better fit, but they just don't stay, like the ones that come on them, seems like atleast one end comes loose on most of them. dang if they were only 1/16 wider the clamp would bite them better, if ya replace many, ya know what i'm talking about.

I've had the same trouble Tony. They sure are close on the fit.

tony malone I do have some kites just for the #3s you will still use the victor top strap but my bottom strap and screws and lock nuts maybe that could take care of the problem.

it's the top strap that don't quite reach, well really it's the pad that don't reach quite far enough under the top strap. do they bolt on kinda like the sudden valley pads and straps?

Dont quite understand what you mean about the pads. The pads of mine are just like what you have one the #2s, when you use the victor strap it bites down over the pad , wrapping it over the back of the jaw and the bottom strap holds the bottom of the pad.
