I have some castor I dried for 5 days then froze.
When I get it out of freezer, do I just dry for a day or two before shipping?
Another question- On the shipping tags it says ____ oz. Is it OK if we havent weighed it? Maybe just put 40 pounds or something? ;D

Just dry it for a day or so till the frost is off the castor and it is dry to the touch. All you have to do is check off castor shipped, we weigh it at the shop when we recieve the stuff. The best way to ship is in an onion bag then into a heavy paper bag. Cheers Jim

If you have a small rip in the castor no problem. We are looking for the amount of yellowish material that is inside the castor. A much bigger problem is over drying the castor till it is black that is more of a downgrade. Cheers Jim
