Hens dont have gills.
You may be right on the young sulfur shelf.
But personally I dont eat the "maybes" ;D

Yepper I found that out. From what I am learning it is a oyster mushroom of sorts.

Yes, that is a cluster of oysters. Looks like they were wedged in by some obstructions when they grew. Most furbuyers are allergic to them when they look like that....you better send them to me for proper disposal.......just lookin' out for ya Don. ;D

Yepper Done had a small amt to eat to try them out. They are great eating. Had to test them to make sure they don't make me ill. I got about 5 lbs and dud not take all of them. Like I said, they are great tasting.

 Well here is a record....the latest I have ever found one and it was Nov. 15th. Don, I took a close up of the underside so you could get an idea of what they look like.
