Looking for a good source of ginseng seed, anyone know of a good source? I saw an ad in the T&PC, and will most likely go to them, if no other suggestions. Thanks for any help. Chris

all the seed is wisc domestic stuff near as I can tell. it doesn`t like our hot humid climate here and always goes down early and essentially never makes seed here. if anyone knows a more southern source, it`s worth a premium to plant here, well at least not that wisc stuff.

Anyone know of a southern dealer? How much does it go for- does it sell by pound or 1/2 pound? Need to withstand these humid IN conditions... thanks Matt.....

I googled "ginseng seed" and all the dealers I came across were either MI or WI, so not much luck as of yet locating a southern dealer. Chris

even the guys in the south sell the wisc seed. it`s a one rotation crop if planted ( wild planted)out of it`s accustomed area. I bought from va once and even it was wisc seed. where is wolfer from mo. ? seems we had a conversation once and he said he had native mo. seed. I need to buy a lb if he does, no matter the price. 3 times the wisc seed is fine and well worth it.
