No license needed in Ind. unless you are a dealer or want to export it out of Ind. into another state.

looked at some today, most down or lost the berries already. we had such a wet spring and early summer and now it`s all burnt up again. I can`t remember the last "normal" summer.

Is it turning brown or has it just layed down a bit? getting drier than a pop corn fart down here. If it don't rain soon, we are going to have a very short digging season in so. ind.

sounds like we are going to get the shaft again this year, wasnt worth the time lookin for it last year, all had pretty much dropped, im not concerned about the berries, just hope the stalks hold tight to the roots, if it happens again this year im thinking about going out and marking roots for next season .... LMAO

its sad really, the only reason they set the season back like they did, every TRUE ginseng hunter i know ALWAYS plant the berries when harvesting the plants in aug (when season opened at that time) and never dug immature plants

Ducker i just had a guy come though on me aug.8 and was digging 6 year old plants.Planted no seed and when we caught him his third time there he had 16 lbs of roots and didn't wash them any he was drying them in a bag and the second time we busted him 5 days later he washed them in his washer snow white. His daddy dug roots and his daddy before him so not every one is knowledgeable. He was digging in two acres of planted root and when they finished busting him he ask the warden if he ask me would i let him come back when season opened and let him dig again.Just how stupid is he?I think he is breathing good air i could be. This is part of what he had stolen.

He hasn't went to court yet but a slap on the hand and more probation. How did i get him,go back to how dumb is this guy. This guy would find his wife in bed with you and believe you were sleeping. He isn't a retard he is just stupid.Oh and greedy because he just kept coming back.He realy thinks it just grew there and i don't even know what it is.
