lol, man we got it good here. at least my beaver dam problem at the bridge will be cured tonight! put the whammy on deer hunting today. stuck it out a bit this morning and never heard a shot. gale force winds this evening. went and heard big trees crashing everywhere and went back to the house.

3.2" up here in wabash county. Super windy this afternoon. My wife had her blind blow over while she was in it. Lol. I'd have liked to see her face when it happened.

Most mundane opening day deer hunting I can remember. Course years ago, I would have shot the little buck that walked up on me. Wind is still howling outside but sounds like a good day coming tomorrow. I finally got something done I have been talking about for years. Put an addition on the back of the barn that you guys seen when you were here and on the east end of that dude is a 10x6 walkin cooler room currently holding at 36 degrees with the first deer of the year in it......bout time. Lot of foam insulation,window ac and a Coobot. Still have to work out a few things inside to hang deer or whatever we butche but got the design in my head and just need to get it done. Friday night I told Zach I wasn't sure if I was even hunting. Heavy rain and 35 mph winds didn't sound like fun. Woke up to 60 degrees and wind, the rain held off till noon. Best opening day for years. Saw 6 does and 4 buck by 8 am. Zach said remember the last few years when we didn't see any and heard all the idiots shooting everywhere else? This year we're the idiots shooting and no one else is. So much for deer not running when it's warm.
