we have been getting $7.50 a qt, still in the husks. we got 2 gallon today in maybe 1/2 hr.

Do they grow wild there? I planted some in my garden once years ago. They were so so.

we have them wild everywhere. they like wet creek banks and sun. or wet weedy fence rows in sun. nathan can spot the buggars from far away. he is heck on arrowhead chips too.

you ever taste a ripe one you`ll never forget what they look like and where to find them. any country road ditch or fence line in indiana I bet has them. if we do the cook out at my place again next year I`ll have some spotted to show anyone that is interested. or bet I can find some any where else too if someone else wants a turn at the cook out.

I found a batch today but most are still green so have give them time to ripen. I did have a couple that were ripe and tried them and thought they were quite tasty. Thanks Bob

when they get yellow or reddish they make a killer picante` sauce, or even make good pies. just google ground cherry pie recipes.
