not hen, a chicken. the orange ones. todd found a big 15 lb. young one . he had a deal to sell it for $40 a lb, but the guy pooped out after he drove it 3 hrs roundrtrip. so we all ate chicken till we couldn`t fit anymore in. speaking of todd, he married angie last week.

Congrats to Todd on getting married! I never liked chickens because I ate an old tough one once. Then last year I found a nice fresh one. Such a difference!!

yes, have to pick them real young. if they get hard and boardy they are about inedible

Found my first chicken today and thought of you all. Eli and I are going to miss the camp out this year due to a wedding.

We have to travel all the way up in northern Illinois near Wisconsin, I'm not looking forward to it at all.
