they did when they clamped the `live market. now the bassturds are everywhere. at least the stray cat and dog problem and the deer over population problem and the small game overpopulation situations are cured. plus got rid of those pesky red and grey foxes.

pretty crappy just getting to catch 2 otter. Myself and the fella I trap with trapped 2 whole days to fill our tags last season. There so dang many otter down here you just about can't trap beaver. Bobcats are the same problem. I like snaring yotes and you ca n't keep the stupid cats out of our snares. I really try to stay away from cat sign, but it is impossible. Guess we won't get a cat season until I die. If we do we might get to catch one cat or they might do it like Illinois did and make you get selected to get a cat. Bet most of the cat tags was issued to Anti trappers.

We use to have a 2 Otter limit, now it's 4. If you go East of the Blueridge there is no limit. You can't hardly walk a River bank without seeing an Otter toilet. We have plenty of them.

We are ate up with Otter in my area. Living this close to the Ohio river, gives the Otter all the slews and ditches they could ever want.
