Could be Ginger, maybe Goldenseal. Young Violets look similar. I maybe completly wrong. What do you think they are?

Goldenseal i am always planting seed and then i forget where and what.lol These have the yellow root and i think i remember planting it but not sure?

One year when I converted my Artificial Shade Ginseng to Goldenseal the Seal seedlings would appear as the ones that you show but then later like in August of the same year they would shoot up another sprout or plant and it would have the like a second year Goldenseal leaf.

I have them marked and i can watch them.I found some like you say that are growing in a new patch.
