I talked to Greg a month or so ago and he told me he was going to FHA. He will be a good addition to the company. He told me he was going to be a coon grader for FHA. He graded most of the coon for NAFA and did a heck of a job. He has a large following of people in the trade. I have known Greg for 30 years or so and he most certianly knows his fur. Nafa lost a good man when they lost Greg. I told them so and ment every word I told them. He is a hard working person and will certainly give FHA 100 per cent. Good luck to FHA and Greg and hope they have a great Marriage.

Always enjoy Greg's demos. He's saved me hours and hours in the fur shed.

WOW! Wouldn't have thought Greg would ever leave NAFA. I've only seen him in person once but his skill at putting up fur is amazing...
He appeared to be just joking around, smoking a cigarette, telling jokes, talking about the fur and generally just shuffle around and STILL put up more coon from start to finish in an hour demo than I could even wish to put up in a whole day...
He is featured on the Wisconsin Trappers DVD and doesn't miss a lick...

'Coon scrapin' is work...period. Beaver, even more so. You have 3 hrs. in ea. beaver, from capture to boarding. If you want a quality pelt, ya gotta take your time. Tried it a dozen ways,,,no way I can get from carcass to board, all pinned out, in much under 15 min. per 'coon. Thus...I'll never be much of a 'coon trapper. They're too easy to pile up more than you want to handle after a day of trapping... or even a half day. I'm tall, that bending over at the scraping beam, even when it's sternum high on me just kills your back. It's little man's work.
