All of my coyotes that I sent in were graded for color B2, B3, C2, and C3. Indiana has some crappy yotes, I was surprised I didnt have any D4.
Tim, did any of your yotes grade A1 or D4?
Gibb, if all else is equal on coyotes, what is the usual price difference on B2 and C3? Only one lot of mine sold, so I dont have anything to compare to.
For those that are wondering the color of the back is A-D with A being the best, the belly color is 1-4 with 1 being the best.

Because the market for coyotes is weak right now, what is in front of the b2 or c3 is more important then the colour. Anything less than 1-11 is a tough sale right now. Anything 11's and graded light are cheap low twenties or teens. Right now you are talking close to the same price. C3 is a really red coloured coyote. The main market for eastern type coyote is trim. Right now only the heavy and semi heavy are selling. Because it is a trim market you do not have as much spread in prices. Where you have a big spread would be between garment type skins and trim type. This would happen more in western sections then in the eastern. Easily as much as twenty bucks between A1 to C3. Cheers Jim

Thanks Gibb for that information.
I kept some of my flatter and darker yotes to tan.
Most of what I shipped were 1 & 11. With just a couple 111 & damaged.
