Hey furbuy you know of any people around the USA that want to buy Goldenseal planting stock? Thats what I mainly do, I dig and sell planting stock to people who want to grow Goldenseal in their woods.

Not at this time, but I also have a patch of seal that I dig for transplant. Just have not had the interest I used to have on the plant. I sell smaller bunches of it, but I don't get the big orders for it I used to get.

I`ve transplanted successfully anytime from late summer on. the tops may wilt down but it comes up ok the next spring. try to dig and move all in the same day. shipped some to a buddy in ohio once and we wrapped bunchs in wet newspaper and he said the leaves never even wilted. I think the stuff is pretty tough.

Fall is probably best, but I have also transplanted in the spring. One time the tops died, but sent up new shoots in a week or so.
