Looks like another bumper crop. Picked enough for a couple of pies and the ones in the shade aren't even quite ripe yet.

daggone. we were flooded and looked like a huge crop coming. now in a drought and they are just drying up real tiny. suppose to rain maybe a little next week but I`m afraid it`s like mushrooms, too late for this year. 90`s next few days I`m afraid will put the kabox on the berries up here. we`ll get some handfulls, but no more. the irony is a week ago the mulberries have no flavor as it was too wet. I see the animals are sure eating mulberries as there are poop piles all over full of mulberry seeds. we started taking the garbage out to under the mulberry trees as we knew someone would find it right off. set a pan of grease under one tree, figured retrieve the empty pan the next morning. big mistake, they took the pan and we can`t find it.

Thats funny.
Getting ready to head out this morning and water some seedlings at the woods. Worried about the next few days.
The ones inside look ok but some on the edge are looking stressed.
Still not too many bugs out yet at least.

Your deer fly hat is one of the smartest things I've ever seen.

by golly we got rain and will have a berry crop after all. not bushels, but plenty enough. had the first berry pie today and the 3 of us ate the whole thing. here everyone knows no pie sees daylight twice so if you are intending eating some tomorrow you will have to make another pie.

We got a little bit but not much. Went each way of us 2 days ago.
Mulberries are in full swing.
