yessir, no ,matter how tough everyone thinks they are, get in for that annual physical you been meaning to do for the last 10 years, thinking you just did that last year. no, it was 10 years ago. same way on the dentist. waste a day isn`t something any of us want to do for prostate cks, colonoscopys , heart cks, blood cks for cholesteral, etc. once you are gone you are gone!

I will miss Murdock a lot, but he would be the first one to tell you that he had a exceptional life and wasn't afraid to go. Not many men get to live a life like Murdock's.

yessir. 94 years old and he had a great life. hunted and trapped much. lots of grand kids. had his mind and amazingly fit till right up to the end. he deer hunted on our place till just 5 years ago. took many deer and also hunted colorado many many years. trapped, raised fox, and was still running a few nuisance traps even recently. he and milly got along fine and of course he had his dogs that went everywhere with him.

Bob, I didn't know him anywhere close to how you and Kathy did. The first time I met him was at your place and I remember talking to him and just sensing he was a real straight up decent guy. Sorry to see him go.

about a year ago he knew he was winding dowm. he gave me his 16 guage, gave nathan a .22 he owned his whole life, and his lifelong arrowhead collection. not like he didn`t have 50 trillion grandkids he could have gave those guns and arrowheads to. when ever he would leave the house and get into his truck to leave he would give us all big hugs and kisses and tell kathy and I and nathan he loved us. what a great honor.

Sounded like a true friend, a man is lucky to have a handful in his lifetime.
