one at a time, dig hole, spread roots, bury, and tamp. nathan was out from the first to the last. 1,100 more to go then it`s awitch over to the garlic mustard wars. sometime soon get the tractor started and the spray tank hooked up for field spraying. fight the plugged nozzles and the roller pump. lol, and probably the dead tractor battery.

Lot of work to do all the time. That's what makes us look "Lucky":-) Speaking of work, I spent 2 hours yesterday cutting grapevines and didn't get much over 2 acres. Was using a surveyors machete but chain saw is going from now on. Sure got some exercise :-)

we finished the first 800 and the other 800 won`t be here for a week or more. looks like good rain coming right now, so they will get seated in good. cked out the tractor yesterday and I`ll be darned if it didn`t just start right up. that`s never happened any other spring. be sure and tordon those vines mark, or they will come back with a vengence 10 times as bad. we had vines big enough to cut 2 by 4 `s from. ones I had to chain saw. kind of wish I`d dried a few now and had them band sawed for lumber. I mean who has a grapevine wood table?been 30 years since we killed all the grapevines and still a few big ones hanging not rotted off yet. you kill a big vine like that and it`s like getting maggots out of your hair. you can just hear the tree sighing relieve and saying thank you thank you. right up there with ivermec a mangey coyote.
