ANYONE EVER KNOW A COUNTRY BOY THAT FOUND ONE OF THOSE GREY BASKETBALL SIZE HORNETS NESTS IN A BUSH OR TREE , THAT THE KID DID NOT POKE IT OR THROW ROCKS AT IT OR BALL BAT IT? i ALWAYS DID. NOW WE KNOW WE CAN SELL THEM FOR ABOUT $25 AFTER THE FIRST HARD FREEZE SO WE DON`T WOMP ON THEM ANYMORE. NATHAN FOUND AND SOLD 3 SO FAR. HIS LATEST DEAL IS ABOUT ONCE A WEEK HE TAKES $100 TO THE BANK AND GETS IT ALL BACK IN ROLLS OF PENNYS AND DIMES AND QUARTERS AND THEN HE SORTS THRU IT ALL FOR SILVER AND WHEAT PENNYS AND ETC. HE IS ACCUMULATING A PRETTY GOOD STASH OF SILVER AND COPPER NOW.

Down on the farm I cut a few in garbage bags then spray with killer stuff so the guy that lives down there has a lady friend in for the night. She decides she wants one my friend thinks hell Doyle do's it I can. He cuts one in a bag ties it up real good and for gets it until day light when they realize the place is full of hornets ,he forgot that I spray in the bag.lol Experience is the best teacher.lol

MY BEST STORY IS i SHIPPED ONE, AFTER A GOOD COLD SNAP, TO A TAXIDERMIST IN ALABAMA FOR A BEAR MOUNT SCENE. HE SAID WHEN IT GOT THERE THE BOX WAS BUZZING. i TOLD HIM NO EXTRA CHARGE. HE ACTUALLY MOUNTED SOME OF THE HORNETS ON THE NEST OPENING AND SOME FLYING ON LITTLE TINY WIRES AND ALSO SOME ON THE BEARS MUZZLE. PRETTY GOOD IDEA. 14 DEGREES HERE THIS MORNING. NATHAN AND i HAVE 800 SEEDLING SIN THE GARAGE NOW. WILL START PLANTING THIS WEEKEND WHEN IT WARMS UP. 800 MORE COMING THE NEXT WEEK, SO 1,600 TO PLANT THIS YEAR

we just went out sticking flags in the ground marking where to plant. ground was still froze so hard we couldn`t get the wires pushed in. 14 degrees last night. up to 35 now and sunny but by golly taking it`s time getting up there. next job is spread carcasses around the farm to feed who ever made it thru the winter. we`ve don that several times this winter and they all disappear. mostly birds and possum. all the coon and coyotes died off from disease. never seen such a lack of sign. if no tracks in the snow for weeks on end, no coon prints in the trails and creek banks after warm ups, by golly they aren`t there

Went shed hunting in a 80 acre wood lot in wabash county last Sunday. Counted no less than 10 coon carcasses. a few had died recently within last two months

too late now. I think we are marketing ourselves to the wrong market here in indiana. lets see if the peta`s are willing to put their wallets where their mouths are. I`m betting not.

a few. he finds about 40% copper and wheat pennys. maybe one silver dime out of 50 bucks worth. similar on quarters. he gets some canadian stuff mixed in too. he can tell you all about I guess any coin ever minted. the ladys at the bank know and like him and they give him free all the damaged coins, like ones bent or smashed or shot, whatever. he is making about 2 trips a week in now and gets $50-100 worth every time. lol, between cking the stock market and commoditys a couple times a day. I think he is giving his teachers in 4th grade stock market advice.

nathan will be happy to talk coins and show off his special ones. I act interested ,but am not. the reason I act interested is this story. about the same age I had an arrowhead collection I doted on, found every one of them myself and read up on each one, how old etc etc. was really really into it. one night dad is reading the paper and I`m showing him each one and telling about it. he isn`t paying attention, looks over once in a while. finally he says, "what are you going to do with those, use them for driveway gravel?" I just put them away and never said another word to him about arrowheads ever again. the things a guy remembers...
