A lot of the troubles we have are from kids not working and learning about what it takes to have a job.

I bought him 3 new fur brushes this year. tomorrow he is going with me to run the bait pile snares. he had school all week and he is ready to shoot a coyote. we are trying to catch the ones kathy didn`t get while I was gone. near as I can tell it`s just 2 coyotes, one a big 1/2 dog and the other with nice little tracks

nathan told us next week at school everyone hsd to go to some sex education program. apparently a bunch of the adults around today must have played hooky the day they had it when they were kids. I remember my dad finding some rubbers in the car and real stern he tells me.." you better not stick your weiner in any girl you wouldn`t want to marry, because you might have to". that pretty much summed it up. heck, my cousin and I bought some at one of those 50 cent gas station bathroom machines just to look at them, we neither of us ever stuck anything anywhere, let alone in a girl. dad must have thought I was more "advanced" than I was.

That's when the corner station were "full service". Air up your tires, wipe off your window, check your oil ( short stick it if it was a slow day ) and pump your gas to boot. Don't forget to get your trading stamps. The restrooms were a den of sin. Rubbers, rubbers with ribs, French ticklers and don't forget the " Spanish Fly" Pick-up your "ice cold" 12 pack and you had all a young man needs on Friday night.

you must have been one of those advanced ones. I was what I guess they call a "late bloomer". I do remember 16 cent gas during a "gas war". normal was about 29 cents. come to think of it I think the rubber machines were 25 cents for 3, not 50 cents.
