ask what coon and rats were going to be worth. I told him a dollar...even steven, I`ll pay him a dollar for each rat and he pays me a dollar for him to keep each coon. , so that means I get the rats free and he gets the coons free.

paw paw market even pooped out, but sold them all except the last 16 lb. the hen and chicken market ran out too. find a good thing be it mushrooms or `live coyotes and everything in between and doesn`t take long for everyone to get in on it and undercut each other so bad that it isn`t worth your time anymore. all a guy can do is make hay while the sun shines.

I dry some and I was told to cut up like u want then freeze in water then when you need them thaw out under water cause they will turn black like a tater will if you thaw slow. When I dry them I tear up like I do for a cook out then just put back in water for awhile and cook like you want.

I have tried several different ways and this is how I like the best. Bread them and deep fry, but only til half done. Soak on paper towels and let cool. Bag in zip loc bags and freeze. I have been eating a few every week all year.

Yes, or put them in frozen even, and just fry a minute or two.

Egg wash, bread'em, freeze on cookie sheet, vac bag. When you cook, put frozen mushrooms in hot oil....don't thaw first. My last years is still good. I have a bunch I'm watchin' too....just need a little rain to get bigger but will get cut soon if it don't happen.
