I suspect it was caught at a rabbit club. They said it was in a trap set illegally and it went for the fur used as bait. COs made a bust over in Switzerland Co. many years ago at a rabbit enclosure/beagle run. Guys setting traps on fence posts with rabbit fur in the "V" of the pan in order to catch hawks and owls around their rabbit hunting enclosure. local12.com/news/local/team-tries-to-save-eagle-injured-in-trapThe BeastMaster Professor Emeritus- North American Trapper University

I remember a story in the franklin journal and currier ( we called it the franklin urinal) about a cow running around in a pasture with a trap on it`s foot. no one could catch the cow to remove the trap. eventually it was shot with a tranq gun and the trap turned out to be the metal ring around a car headlight that the cow had stepped on from the junk yard in the pasture with junk cars all over. the beagle club in newcastle got busted for catching a hawk in a trap on a pole. out of season, no lisc, illegal set. the dumbys set a trap on a pole, a hawk got caught and broke the wire then flew out to a big oak tree hanging over st rd 3 and wrapped the wire on a limb and hung upside down and died right over the highway. in front of the beagle club. smart beagle guys eh?talk about an easy bust. some days being a warden would be fun. I guess they sweated the old farts at the club and they rolled over right easy.

yessir, the old 2 legged dog trick in a bear trap. or all the 3 legged at the hock on a hind foot fence hung coyotes running around the east. no, never was in a trap! and every dog or cat that runs off and never comes home. once had a stranger call me asking had I run my traps this "WEEK". she lived in a county I didn`t even trap. seems her dog hadn`t been home in a week. she just knew he had to be in a trap. it was like talking to an ice cube as far as civility and i.q.. I suppose when the neighbors dog went out of heat he finally came home.

Had one of the local d**es here (I'll say Ohio Co. IN. has the highest rate of lesbians, per capita, of anywhere outside of San Fancissyco) call me once saying her malamute was missing and did I have it in the cages with my coyotes cause it looks a lot like a coyote. Told her to come check. She didn't.

Why was d**es blocked ? Thought this was trappers freedom. d**e is also a line worker's word for heavy duty wire cutting pliers. The algorithm has no way of knowing the context of the word, therefore,,,a human has to be playing Dobbins.
