He's been scouting & has trail cam pics. A few good looking cats, a few big bucks, a million coon & grinners. And even some coyotes and fox in the mix. Got up there to see Bob today. Had a bucket of pee outside my barn the coyotes started in their song in the thicket beside my barn. I'll get them after gun season is over...

Sounds like he's got it figured out. Hopefully you guys get on a heap of coyotes this year. Coons and grinners might be a rough sale this year. Ha.

eastern neb coyotes are going to be a tough sell too. in fact take out montana and a few small pockets in other places and the neb sand hills and the rest of the worlds coyotes are going to be real cheap or no market at all. even the good ones if early, late , or have a wart are going to be discounted severely.

There aren't a whole lot of animals worth a whole lot of anything anywhere this year Bob. Maybe at least Matt can get some redemption on those Nebraska coyotes. Matt do you need another hand on the line?

I am out for redemption. Keeping it simple this year, bait+pee= K9(or cat) I will take very few lures mostly for cats/ badger. I've got gear ready to go, I think we're going to have a good couple weeks catching critters!

Well now, I think I've really seen something this year... Ol Wade caught a yote in a coon trail coming out of a brush pile in a duke 1.5.... Think we've caught 8 this week. No big numbers but getting our coon, grinners, rabbits too. No fox, or cats yet. Still have another week before I head home. Weather is bone chilling but the sets are a working fine. Missed 4 yotes myself today. Probably due to a little wobble in the peat. Used some nails firmed them up good. They might b by in couple days.
