Ok, with all things considered, looks like June the 5th for some early comers that want to look at timber and just hang out and relax. The main outing will be on Saturday, June the 6th. How's that sound for everyone?

No chickens, just some turkeys that mouth off a lot. I bet they can find something to interest'em.

boys with rocks and turkeys sounds exciting too. upside the turkey head with a rock. hunt like jethro on beverly hillbillys. no need waste bullets when plenty throwing rocks. I`d wait to install the glass windows on the new house till after the cook out. you know, just to be on the safe side. no way you can whip rock throwing out of young boys. by and by they get to throwing them at each other then a little crying and black eye or two and they are back at it again. me? oh no, I never did that. that`s my story and I`m sticking to it

They even pulled sea weeds then put them back in the pond when they were done.

I may be in the framing mode by then pretty heavy but I doubt if windows and doors will be in. Those boys I'm sure will be throwing rocks and doing who knows what but I'm sure they wouldn't throw at windows. Grandpa would have a cow and they know it. They got good raisin'.

back when nathan was about 3 we go in the yard and there is a tree with the bark beat off one side and a bunch of rocks laying there. I call nathan and ask did he beat this tree up with rocks? he said no that little boy that you found in the woods did it. I say well that`s you. he says yes that`s what I said. we still laugh about it. the tree is all scarred up but healed over fine. when we have the cook pout here you can all examine the tree and ask him who did that. he`ll probably say oh that was grandpa did that.....
