Guys, my accommodations may be meager but I will have water, electric and other necessary things for everyone to camp. I won't be at my other residence shortly. We will be at the new place. So.....what date are you thinking?

may, early june? I`m anxious to see your new place and tour the woods, shoplift all the arrowheads in the rivers banks etc. we could have a work day cleaning up construction debris or whatever needs done. I`m a pretty good trim carpenter, never told you but worked several years at that. paying my way thru school back in the late 60`s. funny story, went and applied at several places. all wanted references of past jobs, of which I had none. finally made up a bunch of fake references in california ( never been there) and was hired on the spot. just watched what the others did. got so good they had me do the show houses. hunf doors, cupboards, windows, all the floor and wall trim. could cut perfect 45 degrees angles by eye, never used the mider saw. same with my first job ever, lied and said I was 16 when only 14 spo I could work till 2 a.m.. bet they wondered why a 16 year old rode a bike to work.....

By May 15th, I'll have a small barn converted to living (800 sqft) qtrs. By middle of June should be starting framing so hectic time for me. So....let's be thinking about June 1. That should get me moved in there and somewhat stabilized, have footers, walls poured and ready for slab. We can get firm on that in another week..maybe 2 but I bet we can make it a go. Bob, your beginnings is kinda like mine. I was called by a guy that wanted a modern milk house built out of concrete blocks. He asked me if I had layed block before and I said "Yes Sir, I have". I got the job and it took over 4,000 block with windows, doors other detailed sections and all went well. I had layed about 30 or 40 block before that.

Broke ground today for the temporary home and the permanent home. Trees shoved down, mud everywhere and I was a muddy mess climbing around the logs and tops with a chain saw. Driveway will be going in next week and will "Poof" that temporary home up so looking as good as I can make it. Electric and water coming too after the driveway is rocked in. You guys be thinkin' about that cook out because it's going to happen!
