Hello So, I'm considering to buy some 220's for next season. I found the cheapest brand to be Duke. And I went to there site to make sure the 220 size would be in my state's size. And on the far right of the size are the list of furbearers you could trap for using the 220. Which are Marten, raccoon, and groundhog. Then below are the 280 which goes for bigger ones like coyote, bobcat, ect. I thought, though, that the 220 were big enough for coyotes and cats. Is this true or should I change to a 280?
Also what leg-hold size would you recomend for coyotes? Thanks for any future answers, I'm sorry I keep bothering you guys, but these type of questions I can only get answers from actual trappers who have experience in the vartiety of traps and there results.

Most serious coyote trappers use #3, but some use #2. I like #3.
I doubt wether 280s are legal on land.

Well, the 280's are 8 inches, but that's the limit. Anything from 9 in. to larger have to be completely submerged underwater.
I perfer the long-spring for the coil springs are difficult for me to set. So, what would you suggest? Thanks for the coil-spring suggestion though. I know I'm picky.
