I just sent my fur to NAFA for the first time last week. I'll see how it goes and make a post in a couple months after the auction. I talked to Tim about shippin to FHA and was goin to but I liked the fact that NAFA gives a percentage back to the trappin organizations. Tim did say he was trying to work something out w/ FHA to get them doing the same sort of thing. I think it would be a good deal if both these auction houses were giving something back to help support trappers rights. From what I've seen so far this year the FHA and NAFA averages have been about the same.

NAFA has always treated me like a dumba$$ that should never question their grading or anything else. Also they dont average any low grade fur in to there averages to make it look better.
FHA has always told me "remember you own the place" and now I am getting a profit sharing check every year wether I sell there or not.
Who would you choose?

I spoke to Jim Gibb (FHA Big Wig) the other day and we talked about avgs...... His exact words (about avgs.) were "they are what they are"...."never try and make something of them that they are not"..."always be honest and truthfull". I gained alot of respect for the man and company when he said that....
I don't have nothing bad to say about NAFA and think they have good sales and would never say anything bad about someone shipping to them...., but the more I'm finding out FHA, the more I like them.
