Gibb is on his way to Toronto to pick up buyers from the airport. Will be back in North Bay late tonight. Inspection will commence the 7th and 8th of January. This is when the buyers look at the sample lots of furs and mark their cataloge.

Is that a monster sized wolf?
I bet this is a busy time for all of them. I look forward to seeing how the sale goes.

It sounds like it was a very good sale. Rat , Beaver and mink are looking good.
Coyote and red fox are showing more demand.
Coon at selective demand.

I had 8 coyotes left from last year that sold. One II went for 4 bucks. The others brought from 8-10 bucks. That is a big improvement from last year.
I still have some good big coon that didnt sell. They must have been holding out for $30. ;D

I also sold a few hold over yotes...3 @ $10, 2 @ $8, and a junker for $4 Hopefully everything will clear this yr, still have good ones up there, it would be nice to see $25-30 bucks for them guys.
Going to meet Jim Griffith today to transfer the fur bags from this weekends pickups and then they are off to North Bay. It was nice meeting some of you from the site and the pickups were a success. Your belief in and support of FHA is outstanding! Talk with you later tonight

Tim, will Mr. Griffith ever run a pick up route through pa? East of his residence? Any reason why this hasn't been done in the past?

Kris, didn't get a chance to maybe say 10 words to Jim today as he was in a hurry (I was late to drop off) it was unload, load and go as he had a few places to stop at still.
I would recommend you call him and maybe it might work where he will come through the area.
I'll pm you his cell phone #
