I just came in and found about 1/2 lb. Nothing real big. Lot of the bigger stuff is trying to die off. We have a full blown drought going here. Ain't rained in over a month. Did find quite a bit of green and some yellow and a few dead brown. The dang seed heads are drying up , Ain't going to be a lot of seed production. The season will be lucky to go a month here as dry as it is. even the green plants are loosing their tops when you start digging the root. That is a real pain in the but, cause youhave to look for the dang root then.

We didn't find much of anything, dry as a bone! Guess I'll just hope for a better year next year. Chris

Im afraid last season's prices had the Illegal Spring Diggers digging and Alan is probably running into root that may not have the next yrs growth bud on the root neck. Darn people have to ruin everything.

K9 actually the mkt. is in a termoil at this time. The chinese don't want to commit themself to the root mkt. untill they have an idea on how big the dig will be. Even then, the mkt. is going to be cheaper. Things are not all that good in china and the world economey is getting weaker. Look at all the commodities, the oil mkt. is dropping the dollar is still getting a bit stronger each day. Sad to say, but our products in the root and fur bussiness , is most valuable when the dollar is weak.
