Yep, took my grandson and checked one spot on my place and found a patch. I bet they are up good at my favorite spot. Find out tomorrow. Thanks Dave

Do you guys find many false chanterelles? I’ve never looked for them before today. Walked back in the woods and they’re everywhere. I’m not sure if they’re the false or real chanterelles.

In good years, chants can be almost everywhere. I have never seen false ones.

I've found more than I can eat but I've found a lot more before. With all the rain we've had, I thought they would be doing better....but it's just starting too. First time ever but I did find some King Boletes. They weren't' very big but cool find.

Good job on the King Bolete! This is the earliest I have ever found Chants. Its usually just getting ready to start about now.

How long do the chants keep coming up? Think I’ve ate my weight in them already. It’s nice to walk out the back door and pick a nice mess everyday.

I've found them the first part of august. If conditions are right, there could be some through the first of Sep.
