even some on trees from seeds nathan and I planted 5 years ago. my kingnut hickorys made catkins this year for the first time but don`t know if they made nuts. took 20 years on them. persimmons? I`m in possum heaven. ma nature owes me anyway, on account of all the ash trees dieing.

I need to check on the pecan tree s see if we have nuts.Persimions are doing ok but i never have many paw paws

we planted northeren pecan, lots of them, 5 years ago. so far they have lived thru droughts and floods and most alive and grown some. maybe if I live long enough I`ll see some pecans. I`m ordering some resistant american chesnut this year. by the time I`m 150 years old I`ll have it made.

don`t know if it`s true but I`ve heard they pollinate difficult. have read throw carcases under the trees and the flies will polinate them. one year we took a toothpick and put a micro drop of honey in all the blossums we could reach to train the bees to them. the bees remember from one year to the next and ever since we have paw paws galore and no more hand polinating. I want to look at your chesnut trees. are that 100% american or the 90% that look american but are a tad chinese to be resistant to the blight? we planted all the butternuts but none came up. no idea why. I know the squirrels didn`t get them. lol, butter-nuts. is that like a butterface?

don't know about the chest nut a lady gave me some nuts and I planted them I have herd the ame that it takes flys to do the deed .I have used the carcass but
