Only had 1 red. 24 bucks. The same one that brought 64 last year and 48 the year before.
about 20% of my coon sold for a 14.75 ave. all these are I-II 4X-C -25 bucks 2X-D - $12 1X-AB - $14
All my new crop coyotes are still hanging in the shed, but had 3 carryover that didn't sell last year. 1 sold. I'd say it was middle of the pack average. It didn't grade heavy or semi, but had decent color. 2X I-II LT 2 - $45 That was the bright spot of my day!

CONSIDERING THINGS BEING WHAT THEY ARE, IMO THAT IS GPOOD PRICES. WELL NOT THE RED FOX, BUT THE COON AND COYOTE i`VE NOT HEARD ANY BETTER ANYWHERE ELSE. IT`S JUST TOUGH RIGHT NOW , COON ESPECIALLY SEEM TO BE THE BIG HANG UP. IT`S HARD TO IMAGINE FUR WAS SO GOODS LAST YEAR AND TALK WAS GOING TO BE GOOD FOR 10 MORE YEARS ETC. THEN THIS HAPPENS. i FEEL KIND OF LIKE THE GUY ON THE ROOF IN THE MESSAGES FROM GOD JOKE.

nathan has 6 rats and 3 coon to sell. he says he likes the rat prices. he got offered $10.30 on his rats locally and held out for $11. he is a tough negotiator. well not always, he charges 5 cents a coyote for the 10 minute super brushing job. a couple I had to tell him that`s enough.

We are all lucky, if you stop and think about it..
Country kids learn to drive early, men learn to eat good!

hubba hubba! I know I feel pretty happy and content in life and get to do what I like to do. things I see like our gov`t gripe me but ahh that`s life. this "down" fur market doesn`t really bother me much at all. we hAVE A BIG THING GOING ON HERE NEXT FRIDAY. WE WILL NO LONGER NATHANS GAURDIANS, WE WILL BE HIS MOM AND DAD ALL LEGAL. THE ADOPTION IS FINAL NEXT FRIDAY. i CAN`T THINK OF ANY GREATER THING HAPPENING TO ME AT THIS STAGE IN MY LIFE MORE THAN BE BLESSED WITH A SON i THOUGHT i`D NEVER HAVE.
