I found 4 pound 4 oz today it was odd the plants where laying on the ground and they were yellow. I would not of noticed them butt seen the seeds. so then i looked for yellow plant on ground. Found some on bottom of hills and in water ways going down the hills that where still green and a live. If there is a root buyer out there that pays well let me know.

you must not be in a drought area., all our seng in east central in went down long ago, like end of june maybe. dig around here will be a big fat zero this year. I presume it will come back next year, but doubt all of it will.

you fellas must have had a few rains. we just didn`t gt any all spring and summer. we have water now but won`t do any good for the seng now. our crek is still not flowing, so still no ground water, just surface water.

We had very little. But the river bottoms tends to always have a dew guess thats a lifesaver?

I joke that indiana is the only place everything can die of a drought and mold at the same time. last early summer we never even had dew, now that is a rarity. been in the woods working in the timber a lot lately and not a stick of seng anywhere. is a little yellowroot left, like you say, right at the edge of the flood plain or the deep hollows.

Seng is spotty in my area, but some places has quite a bit. Once again, it is in the low sides of hills especially on the side the afternoon sun doesn't hit. A little on the ridges, but you would waste a lot of time hunting high this year.
