I didn't happen for the Jan. sale, but you could see your results online about 30 mins after the sale which was cool. I think that is their goal for you to be able to view your grades & lot numbers before the sale happens. maybe it will work for this upcoming sale...
I did notice that after several days my results were still changing as for amount sold...some stuff must have been selling after the sale concluded.

I`m trying to log in to my fha account to see how my furs graded, and after the sale will do the same to see how they sold. I`ve filled in my trapper number and password and the hit login and nothing happens. any ideas?

I called them and I`m all good now. surprised how well my fur graded relative to the rest they have up there. might be regretting I sold 99.9% before shipping. be interesting. sales are always fun, good or bad. seems my password of large weiner was too many letters or something so I had to make it smaller. that`s a heck of a note. must be an old man thing.

Tman says the market has tanked. My results arent listed yet. I'll check tomorrow to see how much competition I will have next year. Probably just Zach.

I think beaver rats otter are tommorrow. saw on dobbins everyone saying it tanked. hope not. I`d not cancel the new truck just yet. threads on dobbins are not that reliable. but could be! if so I probably marketed just perfect this year. sold my coyotes in the country $60 nose count, cats $452 nose count, late feb when everyone was upbeat and the stock market was near 1,000 points higher, the dollasr weak and oil strong, and before the french elected a socialist/communist ( called a DEMOCRAT overe here) and they thought they could save greece and europe. . maybe for once I hit the peak. all I have at fha is a handfull of rats mink and beaver, so I can`t do too good or too bad no matter what. I`ll let you all know how I did on what I have up there when I find out. I`ve got to the point I just don`t care what it brings anymore. it is what it is.

see what the buyers are looking at
there's 100,000 coyotes and 600,000 + coon at nafa and they don't sit on wild fur and they'll sell cheap if need be so why buy at FH
the market isn't in the tank ...just better deals down the road for them
if i had money i'd head to nafa and buy some fur on the next sale ...there will be deals to be had

Results are posted. Sold 80% of my coon for 15.83 and 75% of my coyotes for 19.63. After reading that T-man thread I think that I did ok.

avg`d $9 on 10 rats, $28.50 on 2 mink and one beaver for $10. the beaver was a real disappointment, was a real nice one and done up perfect. was expecting like $50, so no idea what happened there. and they bought back one real big beaver. maybe it will private treaty yet. and had 2 better grade rats bought back. they`ll probably private treaty them yet too I bet. prices befor commission. nothing to brag about , but not a bust either. sure glad I sold a couple hundred coyotes and my cats and coon in the country several months ago. looks like it was a good decision. the fha stuff was ok imo. just ok. sounds like cats , red fox, otter and martin are the good stuff now. no idea what indiana coyotes did up there, but I bet not too good. or coons either.

I averaged $35.67 before commissions on the beaver that I sent up. 16.33 on the coons, but that average will drop once they sell the rest of them....sold less than 50% of the coons I sent. Mink averaged 27. Couple coyotes that have been up there for a year or two for 2.50. All my prices are before comissions/fees.

was that the top half of the coons or the bottom half? I gues what I don`t understand on $2 coons and coyotes is I don`t know anyone putting up baldys or summer road kill and I can`t imagine any seasonable animal worth only $2 without something terribly wrong with it. and no one is saving that stuff anymore.
