I don't think castor goes across the auction block. FHA has an asking prices and the Pakistans, etc. buy if they can meet the price. Currently there is a strong demand for castor. I "think" FHA sells castor when they recieve enough quantity to do so and send the $/breakdowns of what you sold after they have an auction and are printing checks
Gibb has been gone, but should be back now.....hopefully he can expand or if needed correct my comments

Seems like I have asked Gibb about this and his response was right along the lines of what Tim said.
Last year was my first for shipping fur, but never did see my castor sales on the sale results they emailed to me right after the sale. No worries though, its in good hands.
I bet you'll be really pleased with the sale price.

I was not impressed with what the pelts did At the last sale but on the bright side I had a $17.00 average on my coon. ;D

LOL Dave I would go broke on the cost of operations for sure with the cost of gas and all the beer I would haft to bring for Jerry.

Only have 3 yotes and 22 coon left. Hope those coon clear out next sale and go at a decent price. Taking a while but glad FHA just didn't unload them in a fire sale.
