In his talk to Indiana's outdoor writers, Robert E. Carter Jr., director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, expressed agreement with the humane society's position on hunting ethically.
This is where were in trouble when the dnr agrees with the humane society.

where we are in trouble is when something that has ALWAYS been ethical is now deemed unethical because of an anti direction that was not present ever before. I`m asking our "dnr" ( gag cough cough) to stop all use of dogs to bird and coon hunt also. as why not, no different is it? also all use of comibear traps as there is no fair chase there at all, the poor dumb animal can stay in his hole and starve or come out and die, it`s his choice! also I think guns should be made illegal, especially shotguns as everyone knows if you flush a qual and aim in the general direction there is no sport at all, that quail is dead meat. well actually not meat. they` re too tiny for a meal and all quail hunters are just using gods living creature as a target ,for giggles. yep, it`s a dang slippery slope when someine decides what is ethical based on THEIR opinions and the goadings of hsus.

And the good old put and take pheasant hunting we have in Indiana. All pen raised dumb birds that hardly get out of your way when pursued. To me that is nothing but a big joke.

I have been pondering this for a long while, I have been a union man my whole working life and when contractors try there dumb s--- we get the union involved. Then if it can't be resolved we strike (only as a last resort). So say we ( strike) quit trapping yotes for say one to three years, How will this affect the yote population (we know), How will the state pay to take care of the problem then? In my way of thinking it would s--- can HSUS and change the law to favor the trapper. To me it's a problem now! I'm going to bring this up at the April meeting at the state park! Any and all opinions welcome. STRIKE

I'm tired of this crap! These animal right jerkoffs know nothing! They do not know our world! This is our heritage and culture that this country was built on and their stealing that away! What about OUR, rights?! Huh?! Also... in "theory" we humans are animals... so why cannot you and I participate in the animal kingdom due to us being an animal? Huh? Ooh twisiting the brain ooh! I have seen hawks carry rabbits off and I can imagine what a coyote does to a rabbit to get it's meal... what those animals are doing, in human terms, are more "inhumane" then what we do. Just try to get really descriptive what a hawk or coyote does to a rabbit to obtain and then compare it to us trappers and see who is more inhumane! I swear! Besides, most of these animal rights morons are nothing, but hypocrites. Let's look at PETA (By the way, I never look kindly to an organization that rhymes with peto), you know that Spray & Neuter program of theirs? Well, they took in over 3000 dogs & cats and guess how many got new homes? A dozen! The rest were all put down! Some humane organization this is, huh?!
