Been looking into other states for trapping. Looks like Minnesota, North Dakota don't let you trap. Some don't allow bobcats for nonresidents. Might try Nebraska again but further west. Or south to Arkansas for otter, cats, beaver. Just for two weeks next year decisions, decisions....

IF $ IS A CONCERN, i`D WAIT AND SEE WHAT TRANSPIRES IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS WITH THE MARKET. IT APPEARS TO BE GETTING REAL UGLY-ER, FAST. MIGHT END UP THE $ IS THE SAME AT HOME AND SLEEP IN YOUR OWN BED EVERY NIGHT. LOL, i`M PLANNING SPRING DENNING IN WYOMING RIGHT NOW.

I think the markets in the crapper. Will never be good again in my lifetime. The trip will be just for the experience. Tan some of what I catch and sell it here at home. Might see if I can talk a buddy into going- split gas & other costs.

I'll tan some fox, coyote, put a few beaver on hoops, I'll leave the coon alone. If I get ahold of any cats I can sell them locally easily. I have people wanting the two I got, sold the one, I'm keeping the other.

THE FUN HERE IS WE HAVE COYOTES AND NO TWO THE SAME. SOME RED, SOME GREY, A FEW BLACK AND EVERY SHADE IN BETWEEN. PLUS MOSTLY BIGGER THAN WESTERN ONES AND SOME REAL GIANTS NEAR WOLFY LIKE. IF THE COYOTE MARKET IS SHOT FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE MONTANA/ ALBERTA TYPES, HANDS DOWN OUR ROUGH NASTIES HERE ARE LOTS MORE FUN. CATS ARE ONLY EXCITING IF THEY ARE WORTH BIG MONEY. THEY ARE PROBABLY DUMBER THAN POSSUMS, SO SURE NO SKILL REQUIRED TO CATCH THEM. i`LL PROBABLY GO WEST AGAIN, BUT SURE RE-THINKING IT. THE FINANCIAL REWARD FOR BEING AWAY FROM FAMILY AND MY OWN BED JUST ISN`T THERE ANYMORE. NOT LIKE A GUY CAN DIG ROOTS , SQUIRREL HUNT,OR CATCH BLUEGILLS IN THE WEST. GRASS ALWAYS LOOKS GREENER SOMEWHERE ELSE BUT RARELY IS. BELIVE ME, i`VE BEEN THERE AND DONE IT ALL AND COMING BACK HOME LOOKS PRETTY DARN GOOD EVERY TRIP.
