up getting breakfast ready. sawmiller and jason brought a grill and doing pancakes and kathy is doing eggs and bacon. newbombs boy is hunting deer. no pictures but great turn out except two guys we sure do miss. not the same no matter how many come withoiut dave and doyle. dewey came from va and scott all the way from new york, pat rose from mich, and the rest of the regulars and some new indiana folks. we had a paw paw cheese cake, now that was something . ate pork, porky, lots of various deer, wild hog bacon, dove breasts turtle rabbit muskrat, bobcat 3 kinds of fish . and of course there wasn`t enough food (lol).

eli saw a deer and getting ready to aim his gun clanked on the metal bar on the stand and she whirled off. but close!everyone all gone and like always place neat as a pin, not even a cigarette but. 3-4 bags to go to the dump and it`s like no one was ever here. mark did a tremendous job cooking, running 2 grills and a deep fryer and rip and jim ran a fish deep fryer too. thanks everyone for the great job and food and being good people.

Had a good time. Enjoyed meeting Pat, sure missed Doyle and Dave. Next year maybe. I do believe Mark could turn roadkill in a first class cut of meat. Venison and pork were both great. Had porky for the first time also. Good food and good people.

speaking of which, nathan found that stack of ffg`s on the porch. he has them in his room looking over them now. thank you! porky is my favorite. even a big 30 lb`er you are lucky to get a couple lb. of meat and no big pieces. they are mostly a giant gut bag and quills and darn little carcase with the guts and skin out. all their muscle is on the front legs, hardly any back strap or rear leg muscle. not enough anywhere else to even pick little pieces off. to me tastes like good stew beef.

I had a great time, it was well worth the drive. Bob and all the Indiana guys treated me like Gold and made me feel very welcome. It was nice to put faces with names, and the food was excellent. My wife and daughter couldn't make it due to illness; but we will try to be their again next year.

sawmiller was going to haul him both ways but he bailed out on coming with sawmiller and jason. hard to get him away from home. he is 76 now and can`t get him out much. he`d a been the star attraction for sure. I want to thank mark werenert again for all the cooking he does. without him and gail we`d a mostly been ordering 10 pizzas and eating a lot of desert.besides doing all the cooking he brought plenty grub himself including 2 big pork loins and lots of side dishes. coyote chris brought his mom with him and we all sure enjoy her coming too. she`s like everyone gramma and we wait on her non stop. she gives lots of hugs and eats a little of everything , even cat and porky. for those that don`t know, chris played in about 1/2 the big name rock bands of the 70`s and 80`s. we had some 3 d glasses eveyone tried that showed dancing snowmen if you looked at the fire. chris said back in the 70`s he saw that without 3 d glasses. his mom said she thinks he still does! todd had his guitar ad sang around the campfire like he does every year.

it`s all you guys that make it. yote skinner found out how to see about 10-20 lb. of "italian deer" disappear overnight. johhny saw all his muskrat and rabbit disappear. all the rat was gone by the time I found it so I got a rabbit leg. went back to get another and it was all gone too. can`t remember who but someone was talking about how we could cure a vegetarian at this deal.
