Locklear and Dunlap have come up with something you spray on top of your trap bed to keep it dry and working in wet/ freezing conditions. I'll probably be a sucker and try some. Anyone else ever used such a thing? I'll have the peat moss bedded traps close by as well, as I do have faith in peat.

if it works under water, go for it. common sense tells me things will keep water from freezing , but not from falling from the sky. you know how it is here in indiana, when it gets so wet you can`t drive to the traps , riding an atv makes big ruts, or you are sinking in a foot with every step walking, well, you know.

I know. I'll try it and give my thoughts on it. I've got clay and black muck both here. Be interesting how coyotes act toward it.

more money will be made selling things to trappers than will be made trapping this year. well, most every year I guess. all these new inventions and such remind me of the guys giving seminars om how to make 500 grand a year flipping real estate, and say they themselves made millions. lol, not from selling real estate! plus you wonder if this guy made millions, why is he running around the country selling seminars for $50 a head. maybe set on the top of a hill and it will work. I have no idea what it is, I`d guess some combo anti freeze/water repellent. like peat moss in a can. I`m all for anything that will increase my catch or beat ma nature. mostly it`s dry weather.

Looks good but will it really work out under real conditions and is it cheap enough to use on a real line, let us know when you try it.

I messaged Jeff on FB. He's going to be in Danville. He said he'd talk to me about it there. I'll let you know about prices/ ect... We'll see.

Didn't have it ready for market. Not shure if he can get it in bulk cheap enough to make any profit with it. So the "iron curtain" will probably be a no go to Nebraska with me.. Jeff said Clint Locklear may have it for sale soon but he wasn't certain.

If Jeff won't be able to make a profit, then Clint probably won't either.
