that`s great. something happened to our squirrels here. we had tons all last winter and spring. now all gone. been hunting every day and got one and seen near to none. real disappointed as this was going to be nathans first real year with his own gun. well, maybe next year.

our numbers may be down just a little but the biggest problem is no hickory nuts. if i find a tree that produced nuts they are allready 100% cut. its makin the huntin real slow.

Great picture! These cool mornings have me itching to go but gotta wait another week for season to come in. Our hickory trees are loaded, the white oaks...that's a different story.

plenty nuts here, just scarce squirrels. see several of those pesky little pineys every morning but the fox squirrels are scarce as hens teeth

maybe they are in the corn now. we had corn around last year and still killed heck out of them early. 40 or so pretty fast. they are just testing hickory and walnut here now and no acorns or beech nuts ready yet. it`s always better later, or seems that way.

Great job young man!! Good year here for grey squirrels. Find a hickory with nuts and there will be 7-10 in it.
