Now that is some good "Crap"! I found 35 blacks about 3 days ago. I went on a walk-about today for about a couple miles looking for more and zippo! I've heard of some guys finding white ones and that is what I checked on today.....still early for me. I think I'll go check or more black spots. Hope you get into'em.

NO CRap or mushrooms up here yet either one. can`t believe you have crap up already as we aren`t that far apart. well, means the crap up here in the north land should be up most anytime now. the garlic mustard is sure up, now that`s crap.

Couple dozen greys and 2 peckerheads. The ground is plenty moist, we just need some sun and warmth.

my 12 in the yard are up to an inch tall now. everyone coming to the next cook out gets a piece about as big as a match head. if kathy doesn`t hog them all. I gotta keep an eye on her but she is sneaky. I`ll probably go get the mail and be back in 5 minutes and they be gone.

I picked a bread bag full of yellow ones tuesday. The experts say we have a bumper crop here, but I have put a lot of miles in to find what I found. The bread bag full all came out of about a 40 foot circle. I went today and my brother and I found only 2 in 2 1/2 hrs. of hunting. I found those just as I got ready to quit. So I hunted another 1/2 hour and found nothing. Walked a lot of real estate yesterday and all we found was some nice poke tops to eat. I had poke and green eggs today.

Seng and seal both survived the frost. I think it was 32 two mornings here. The sweet potatoes and a few other plants sitting outside the farm store didn't though!

My Seng came up on april 15th and my seal was up by about the 7th of april. The seng was about 5 days late and the seal was a good week late. You could can darn near bet the date is normally around the 10th of april when the seng first comes through the soil.
