we picked 4 cups today, just enough for a pie. 3 of us ate the whole pie. there will be be boat loads in the next few daysas they are just starting. looks like a banner black rasberry and black berry year on the way too, if the rain keeps up. noticed the paw paws did not set any this year. no idfea what`s up with that as we had bushels last year. too early to tell on persimmons yet.

I better go check my mulberry tree! My peach trees have nothing this year and are usually hanging full. The elderberries are blooming up a storm, looks like they will have a good year.

we made lots of elderberry jelly a few years ago and ma still has a gallon or more in the freezer of berrys from last year. to me it tastes like grape jelly on steroids. we all sure are blessed to have all this free for the taking. hope f and g doesn`t put limits or a season on it all , or just make it illegal. kinda like they did on coyotes.
