Brother and I hunted tuesday and found just under a 100. Scattered bad./ Lots of walking . I found about 25 out of the bunch and mine was all the bigger white ones. He found the rest but most of what he found was snake heads with a very light mix of grey ones. went back out wednesday and he found about 15 and yours truly found none. I went on a big white or yellow hunt and walked my rear end off. He went back to where he found all the junky ones. I just about don't care to even find the dang things if I got to pick snake heads. My bro ain't got a problem with picking junk.

Found 29 blacks yesterday. Look like some have been up a week and some just came up. We needed this rain.

It has been a pretty good spring here. Been real cool with some fairly warm days. Going into the eighties this next several days. I hear of certain people getting big quantities here, but not myself. My Brother and I had one real good day and that was the day we got almost a 100. Haven't hardly found enough since then to dirty a skillet. I think it is over here. Funny thing of it all is, 2 different people said they found big bunches friday. Last day I went was friday and found one.

WE NEVER DID GET ANY RAIN. WONDERING IS THIS THE START OF THE ANNUAL SUMMER DROUGHT. THEY ALWAYS SAY RAIN AND IT NEVER RAINS HERE. VERY DISCOURAGING. GROUND CRACKED ALREADY AND SEEDLINGS STRESSING. TODAY GOT MAYBE 2/ 100THS. NOT 2 /10, 2 /100. WOULDN`T EVEN MEASURE. THIS WILL BE OUR 4TH YEAR IN A ROW DROUGHT LOOKS LIKE.
