GOING THRU THE FREEZERS TODAY i FOUND A MONSTER COON UNDER ALL THE TAXIDERMY SPECIMENS, ABOUT A 30 LBER, SKINNED. SO HE IS OUT THAWING TO PUT UP. IT WILL BE A 6 X . DON`T KNOW HOW i MISSED IT WHEN PUTTING UP THE REST. GOOD RAINY DAY JOB. THE KIND OF COON WE DON`T SEE HERE IN INDIANA. TYPICALLY THEY GO 44-48" TO BASE OF TAIL ON A 10" WIDE BOARD. SCRAPIMNG THAT KIND IS WORSE THAN A COYOTE OR BEAVER OR OTTER. HAVE TO SHAVE THE FAT AND GRISSLE OFF ON THE NECK AND BASE OF TAIL. NO SCRAPING TO IT, LIKE CLEAN SKINNING A BEAVER.

I think at FHA, 4X and bigger are all sold together and called Jumbo. Kinda like the neighbors ex. And she definitely wasn't A-B.

Doyle, your sugar coating it on both counts. Bob, I didn't look at the color of her feet.
We sure hijack threads, that's better than planes. Doyle, I hear some more white chicken stories are in the making.

we had a lot of fun with chickens. always something killing them. we had coon wars, owl wars and even coyote wars with them. got that black coon skinned and up. what a shame he had a bald spot on his chest. been an easy $40 taxidermy sale but now he is on the board.
