THAT SAME WITH IN INCHES OF THE PICTURE OF ME AND THE BASKET SET THIS YEAR HAD 8 COYOTES IN A ROW THIS YEAR AND 7 MORE WITH IN 50 FEET. TOOK 45 OFF THAT RANCH THIS YEAR, 52 LAST YEAR. MARK AND i BOTH TRAPPED IT ONE YEAR AND MARK CAUGHT THE NICEST COYOTE IN A SET ON THAT RANCH THAT BOTH OF US HAD EVER SEEN OUT OF ANY THOUSANDS. IT WAS ONE IN 10,000 THAT NICE. SOFT AND SILKY AND SNOW WHITE BELLY AND SIDES AND NO BROWN IN IT AT ALL, JUST WHITE GREY AND SILVER. NO RUBS OR DEFECTS. THE KIND YOIU HATE TO KILL. MY GUESS IS HE HAD PLENTY OF GENES STILL BREEDING SO NO GUILT.

well, ya got two of them! last year I had a bad day west and called home moaning about it and mt sweet wife says well you got one more than you thought. she found dead deer in the woods and set a snare on a trail coming into it and she caught a big rough one. it was typical indiana wolfy one but by golly she got it alive and it pee`d $100 worth before we did it in come spring.

Ever notice how our eastern yotes have diff. shaped faces and heads ? Seems the western ones are all the same. The one above, has a cartoon shaped face like Wiley E. Coyote.

Doyle, I wish I could catch yotes in a spot like that. When I try, out of 20 sets I get 18 possums, 2 skunks, 2 coons, 3 squirrels a rabbit and 2 coonhounds. So I go a half mile from the woods and catch 3 yotes, 7 tractors, a plow and 2 bush-hogs.. Oh and a combine.

i REMEMBER ONCE USED A $20 SQUEEKER IN A THISTLE PATCH IN THE MIDDLE OF A PICKED BEAN FIELD AND YOU KNOW THE GUY BUSH HOGGED IT THE NEXT DAY. NOW GET THIS, THERE WAS A RED FOX IN THE TRAP AND HE BUSH HOGGED IT TOO. FUR AND GUTS EVERYWHERE AND NEVER DID FIND THAT TRAP OR THE SQUEEKER ANOTHER TIME i SET A DOZE PILE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BEAN FIELD. BEEN THERE TEN YEARS WHERE THEY DOZED UP AND OLD FENCE ROW. 2 SETS. NEXT DAY IN THE DARK i`M DRIVING ALL OVER AND CAN`T FIND THE DOZE PILE. FINALLY SEE A BULL DOZER AND A BACK HOE WHERE THE PILE USED TO BE. IT GETS BETTER, ANOTHER TIME ABOUT SAME DEAL AND THEY BURNED IT AND FOUND THE TRAPS AND THEY WERE ALL FLOPPY AS THE FIRE TOOK THE SPRING OUT OF THE SPRINGS. ANOTHER TIME i KNOW THE OLD FARMER IS BAD ABOUT MOW EVERYTHIHNG ONE MORE TIME EVEN IN NOVEMBER SO SET WAY OFF THE LANE UP TIGHT TO THE FENCE. THE OLD GEEZER MOWED SO CLOSE HE HOOKED SEVERAL POSTS AND WIRE AND TORE THEM OT. ALL THIS ON FIRST NIGHT CKS. I.E. i FEEL YOUR PAIN DAVE, THEY ALL DON`T TURN OUT LIKE THE 8 SPOT.. THE KISS OF DEATH IS YOU SNEEK INTO THE COW PASTURE AND QUICK MAKE A DOUBLE BUT TOO LATE THE COWS ALL RUN OVER AND MAKE A CIRCLE AROUND YOU. JUST AS WELL PULL RIGHT THEN AND SAVE THE AGGRAVATION.

YOU KNOW WHAT i REALLY HATE IS SOMEONE STEALS OR KILLS MY COYOTES. i KNOW WE`VE ALL HEARD THE MOST RIDICULOUS STORIES WHY THE GUY IS RUNNING OVER THE COYOTE WITH A TRACTOR ( IN THE TRAP MIND YOU) OR BEATING IT TO DEATH WITH A GIANT WRENCH OR FENCE POST. HOW IT GOT INTO HIS TRUCK AND OUT OF THE TRAP ETC ETC. i`VE EVEN HAD COPS SHOOT COYOTES FOR ME WHEN THEY HAD NO VALUE UNLESS ALIVE. BEWRTWWN THAT KIND OF THING AND THE MUD IS WHY i JUST HOBBY TRAP HERE AT HOME AND DO MY SERIOUS IN THE WEST.

I've always said it should be a Federal law that if you can't get your corn out by Halloween, sorry, you can't sell it. Had waaay to many traps ran over and plowed under in yrs. past. They sit and watch for you to set, then go harvest and plow.
