I have been in the woods several days and have not seen a thing. We just got 2 inches of rain, maybe that will help.

nothing here at all yet. the drought was so severe is why I imagine. suppose to be several rain chances in the next few days. if that doesn`t bring them, then maybe there won`t be any this year as time is ticking away. in years past they were pretty much rotten by oct 15th. so if they are coming, it`s definitly going to be a "late" year. furbuy, you are I bet 10 days behind us on everything, so I`d not worry too much just yet. say, you hearing and grapevine talk on fur markets this year? I hear everything is sold out at nafa and groany and a few other big dealers except their highest end stuff and maybe some junk.

Bob I still own several coon, beaver and yotes from last season. Heard Groney is moving coons and fox well. Heard one of the mink sales was off about 10 per cent in september, but the merchandise was probably lower end stuff.Don't see how anybody could have any mink from this season ready to sell.

furbuy, because you had limits on them, or because no one would pay the price nafa put on them? not having fur sold is not nescesarily bad. coyotes and cats are my 2 concerns as that is 90% or more of the $`s I catch. hoosieryote, I`ll be real surprised if you find any hens. I think it`s still too early for you corydon types.

the limits nafa put on them. The furs are all nice furs. Selects and slts for the most part I don't mean damaged either. The slts was all on the beaver and most was either small clips or coniber hits to the back of the neck.

Over 4" overnight. Too wet to go deer hunting this morning, so I spent a couple hours cleaning the basement. That only gets done twice a year. during heavy rain or a blizzard.LOL Then I got cabin fever so I went out in the downpour and spread gypsum on my sang patches and checked my hen trees. Still nothing...
