set snares they are on right now , and with the snow you can set simailer to dirt sets ,they are easyly put out of use with the wind ,sun so have to plan ahead , but snares on trails is easy

Heres a set we use for fox and yote in the snow. We find a game trail they are using and we use urine specific to the critter we want ie:fox urine for fox, yote urine for yote. We use 6' of chain and a heavy bulky drag dropped into the snow. Wax paper under the trap and we also use it as the trap cover and sift powdered snow over the whole trapbed. Dont touch the snow with your hands whether gloved or not besides scent it will form a crust. We dribble/drop about 12 or so heavy drop of urine right beyond the trap oh about 8"-10". The trap has to be between the trail and the urine. Brush out any tracks etc of your presence and dont walk up to check the sets. When the drag pulls out you can see it for a long ways off. A little skunk essence with the urine works good too as a change. Fox urine draws fox and yote but rarely does a fox investigate yote urine. Thsi is one of our snow sets, quick and easy. They walk over and stick their snout down to smell the urine and if you guessed right they step right into the bedded trap. Not a 100% catch rate by any means but 99% of the time they'll stop and check it the next time thru so adjust your sets accordingly. If you can use snares thats what I'd do and you are lucky. We cant here so we have to adjust and set footholds.
